- This wooden percussion instrument or rasp has been carved to resemble a frog and includes a scraper. The frog is squat with a large hole bored through the middle to hold the scraper in place and act as an amplifier. On top of the frog are seven ridges that, when stroked with the scraper, are intended to produce a sound similar to a frog's croaking. The rasp sits on four legs and between the front two there is a hole drilled to attach a leather thong to the accompanying scraper. The scraper is cylindrical and appears to be made of a different kind of wood than the rasp.
