- a) Frieze: bandings, top to bottom: 1) pink and purple acanthus leaves; 2) pink row of balls; 3) yellow, orange, purple wave and feather/foliage pattern; 4 & 5) narrow geometric pink and purple bandings forming architrave for gold and yellow Ionic and Corinthian capitals with elaborate acanthos. Below architrave: half-round vignettes, three amorini, two with staffs, one with horn riding goat. b) Purple and pink column, fluted, with black bands and leaf decoration. Deep blue acanthus border.
