- Description
- The decoration of the vertical stripes refers to the sacrament of the altar. Two angels carry the Ark of the Covenant before the tops of the trees. Attributes of the old dispensation, a cork, a snake, a key are represented in the bottom framing of the central section. The tops of the central sections show angels with attributes of virture: strength, justice, prudence, temperance respectively. Two angels and a crouching lion (Vigilance) are at the bottom at left, two angels and a spead eagle at left.
