- An arched bay divides two arched windows, each surmounted by painted panels in rocaille frames, in the style of Germain Boffrand. Inscribed (in pencil), lower right: "Designed and executed by J.Gillow Garton." On verso: "A portion of design of entire salon for Mrs. Olerichs on north side of her home on 57th street., New York. I employed special artists from Paris for decorative paintings on wall."
