- White short sleeve t-shirt has orange and black letterting, "Del Mar Skateboard Ranch," superimposed over a yellow horseshoe on the back of the shirt. Opened in 1978, Del Mar Skate Ranch was one of the last skateparks built before the skateboard bust of the 1970s. A beautifully designed park, unfortunately the concrete was of a lesser quality and made it a hard, rough skate. This did not deter the many skaters who flocked to the Ranch during the mid 1980s. Del Mar closed its doors in 1987 after they lost their insurance as many other parks did before the uptake in skating began again in the 1990s. The original artwork on the shirt was done by Pushead aka Brian Schroeder, an artist popular in the heavy metal music scene. He has designed album covers for Metallica and Dr. Dre and created work for Zorlac Skateboards and Thrasher Skateboard Magazine.
