- Daily Planet newspaper prop used in the 1987 film Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. This superhero adventure is about Superman's efforts to eliminate nuclear weapons on Earth. Sidney J. Furie directed this film which stars Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, and Margot Kidder.
- The Daily Planet is a newspaper long featured in DC Comics as serving the fictional city of Metropolis. The paper was first introduced in Action Comics #23 and serves as the employer for Superman's alter-ego Clark Kent, as well as other long running characters such as Lois Lane, Perry White, and Jimmy Olson.
