- Hand ledger says the bones of this specimen belong to USNM 163299. Toes are actually from skin 163106, as they were salvaged out of the mounted skin at the time it was destroyed. Heller field catalog indicates that this specimen originally consisted of a skin and skull. Mounted skin; skin destroyed 2004; skin sample saved.
- Skin sampled: 30 hairs removed from at least two areas for isotopic and molecular analyses by Dr. Itzel Arias del Razo, Stanford University, 5 May 2014, Tr # 2068762.
