- Description
- Landscape sketch showing a view of a vibrant sunset in cloudy skies over Jamaica. A treetop is included in the immediate foreground at lower left, while a pointed mountaintop is loosely rendered in the middle distance at center. Lush, green terrain extends indistinctly to a hazy horizon. At center, a puffy, low-lying bank of clouds stretches across the composition and partially obscures the view of a bright patch of orange-red sunlight. The setting sun's light casts the background clouds in a luminous red glow, that fades to gray and white along the upper margin.
