- Recto: Christ riding on a donkey and colt, the animals side-by-side with a blanket spread across their backs.
- Verso: Christ's body being lowered from the cross, with the Mary kneeling in the foreground at right, another female figure, likely Mary Magdalene, kneels behind her. Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus, and a third figure support Christ’s weight, while St. John the Evangelist kisses Christ's feet at lower left.
