- Fragment of brocaded silk showing large-scale design of scrolling acanthus-like leaves in gold and silver, and smaller-scale flowers in polychrome silks on a deep green satin weave ground. The pattern is so closely related arranged that only small areas of ground fabric are left uncovered. Left selvage present.
