- Summary
- The sculpture depicts a wolf with two suckling babies. The wolf stands on all fours with its head turned to its proper left and its mouth open slightly. Two nude infants sit under the wolf with their heads raised to suckle. One infant is seated on a small rock and the other infant kneels. The sculpture rests on a rectangular marble base which rests on a rectangular black granite base.
