- This service cap was standard issue for members of the Free French Air Force during World War II. It was worn by the donor Sergent Chef (Master Sergeant) Roland M. Grand. Grand served as a Flight Engineer / Gunner on Martin B-26 Marauders Consolidated B-24s of the Groupe 1/34 "Bearn", 34e Escadre de Bombardment Moyen, 42nd United States Bomb Wing First Tactical Air Force and Twelfth Air Force from 1943 to 1945.
