- Luftwaffe tropical peaked field cap (Tropenschirmmutz); tan cotton crown, body and stiffened band and visor; two ventilation holes with mesh screens on the underside of the body; white embroidered on tan cotton Luftwaffe insignia on peak with white, black and red embroidered national cockade below the insignia; the cap's leather chin strap and neck protector missing.

- The Luftwaffe's tropical peaked field cap (Tropenschirmmutz) was introduced in 1941. Intended to be worn by all ranks the cap and branches of the Luftwaffe serving in the Mediterranean and North Africa.
