Summary
Full-length portrait of Brigadier General Lloyd Tilghman, dressed in military uniform, standing beside a rearing horse whose front hooves are on a broken wagon wheel. The General holds the horse's reins in his proper left hand and he holds a sword in his outstretched proper right hand. The General's hat is on the ground behind the horse's proper right rear leg.
