- Physical Description
- Round porcelain patch box with three feet and lid. Porcelain is thin and lid is not hinged. Transfer print of a balloon on the lid with the caption 'Mr. Sadler and Capt Paget / Aug. 12, 1811.' The flight was made by James Sadler and Captain Paget of the Royal Navy from the Mermaid Tavern, Hackney, London, with the balloon decorated to celebrate the birthday of King George III.
