- Purchased from the artists at the Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market (Phoenix, Arizona) in 1991 by John R. Moses (1919-2007), Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs from 1962 to 1982 and a collector of Native American pottery; donated to NMAI in 2008 by his son, Dr. John Moses, in the name of John R. Moses.
