- Karl Folke Eweson, dba Ballco Products Co., registered the term Vacutex in 1942. The product was on the market by 1947. One inscription on the cardboard box reads “VACUTEX / REMOVES / BLACKHEADS / out / in / SECONDS.” Another reads “Made and distributed by BALLCO PRODUCTS CO.”
