- Batman issue No. 27 was published by DC Comics in February and March 1945 and sold for 10 cents. The yellow cover has art by Jack Burnley that depicts an image of Batman and Robin assisting Santa Claus with his pack of presents. The caption reads, “Season’s Greetings from Batman and Robin.”
- This issue contains the stories "The Penguin's Apprentice," "The Pearl of Peril," "Voyage into Villainy," and "A Christmas Peril!"
- Batman made his comic debut in 1939 in Detective Comics No. 27 before receiving his own self-titled line of books in 1942.
