- From card: ""From Thebes, Deir el Bahri, Tomb 65, Tomb (2 pts) of Merytamen. XVIII Dynasty Museum Excavations 1928-29. Lid not found with basket. Just under the ridge for the lid and knotted through the sides of the basket are the ends of 2-ply linen cords, probably representing 4 loops which met on top of the lid and were sealed, to hold the lid in place. Contents: 11 small and 3 large bundles of mummified meats; mass of rags etc., (floor sweepings) among which were the 2 human-shaped original bandages of Merytaman [Merytamen, Meritamun], folded up. Bibl.: H. E. Winloch [sic, should be Winlock], Meryet-Amun, 1932, p. 34, p. 46, p. 76, No. 44B, pl, XXXIX A." No contents in basket and base was detached from sides when received at U.S.N.M."
