- Japanese woodcut print of balloon ascensions near a harbor. Center panel, one of three. This panel shows a balloon being prepared for ascension surrounded by a crowd of people in Western dress. This is almost certainly a second print (see A20140969000 through A20140971000) showing the scene in Philadelphia on July 14, 1860 when T.S.C. Lowe and William Paulin flew for the visiting Japanese Embassy.
