- Description
- A mourning ribbon for John Logan, a veteran of the Mexican American War and the Civil War. In addition to being the Republican vice presidential nominee in 1884, he also served in the Illinois state legislature, the United States Senate and House of Representatives. Logan fell ill during the 49th Congress and died December 26, 1886.
