Avion Voisin abattant un Focker – Mer de nuages
Object Details
- Artist
- Henri Farré, 1871-1934
- Physical Description
- Offset, Lithograph, Print, Ailes Glorieuses, Voisin Airplane Shoots Down a Fokker – Sea of Clouds. The French plane is a Nieuport, not a Voisin. This is the only print in the set where he signed with his full name. It looks like the last letter in Henri is a y instead of an i, but it’s more likely it’s a stylized signature like the long, downward tail on the é in Farré.
