A grassy hill gently arches across the foreground, in front of a central green tree, flanked by red and orange trees at left and right. A split rail fence separates the foreground field from the trees in the middle distance. In the background, a mountainside, covered in brown and orange trees, ascends abruptly toward a grey-blue sky. The grey grounding color is visible along the right and lower marigns.
