- Women & Their Work records measure 14.6 linear feet and date from circa 1977-2015. Included are artist files containing correspondence, work samples, photographs and slides and press clippings; VHS videos; project files; exhibition and loan files; financial and administative files documenting the activities of Women & Their Work. A portion of the collection contains born digital material.

- This collection is open for research. Access to original papers requires an appointment and is limited to the Archives' Washington, D.C. Research Center. Researchers interested in accessing audiovisual recordings and born-digital records in this collection must use access copies. Contact References Services for more information.
- Separated Materials
- The Archives of American Art also holds microfilm of material lent for microfilming (reel 3316) including newsletters, press releases, clippings, exhibition announcements and catalogs, and posters advertising events sponsored by Women and Their Work; and photographs of art work, gallery installations and exhibition reception guests. Material was returned to Women & Their Work after microfilming.
