Object Details
- General note
- Typed manuscript with extensive corrections, presumably by the author, on almost every page. Cover sheet states "Carbon copy of final draft. " The title page states that there are 100 photographs and 2 sketches, but there are no photos present. There are two sketches showing (1) location of the frontal brain shot on elephant and (2) location of the side brain and shoulder shots. Foran has written in ink at the bottom of the title sheet: "Copyright W. Robert Foran 1956 and original manuscript with photographs and copyright gifted to The Adventurers' Club of Chicago, 19 W. Jackson Blvd. , Chicago 4 Ill. U. S. A. by me [signed) W. Robert Foran. "Manuscript is dated in Foran's hand July 26, 1955 to March 11, 1956.
