- This series primarily includes diaries, correspondence, journals, manuscripts, and photograph albums relating to exploration, travel, big-game hunting, and safaris in Africa. Of note, materials document the Emin Pasha Relief Expedition and the Prince of Wales's trips to Africa 1928. Also contains items relating to Carl Ethan Akeley (1864-1926), Verney Lovett Cameron (1844-1894), Henry Arthur Dalrymple-White (1917-2006), A. Radclyffe Dugmore (1870-1955), Henry Morton Stanley (1841-1904) and Lady Dorothy Stanley (1855-1926).
