- In the late 1870s, George Brown Goode began to compile information for a complete bibliography of ichthyology, including the names of all genera and species published as new. He continued to work on the project until his death in 1896. The work was never published. This series consists of Goode's manuscript and research data from his contemplated bibliography. The material is arranged alphabetically by author or publication.
