- Scope and Contents
- This series contains archival material related to and created by Herbert Ford Bridgewater (1908-1970), son of Samuel and Mamie Bridgewater. He married Nellie Robinson, and they had two children Herbert Eugene (1937-1947) and Margie E. (b. 1938) who married the Reverend Mr. Sanders S. Horton in 1957. They lived at the family home located at 502 Peosta Avenue in Helena, Montana. The series contains educational ephemera, photographs, legal documents, correspondence, fishing licenses, a United States Army issue New Testament, military papers and memorabilia, funeral memorabilia, and estate papers.
- Collection Restrictions
- The collection is open for research. Unrestricted research access on site by appointment. Unprotected photographs must be handled with gloves. Researchers must use reference copies of audio-visual materials. When no reference copy exists, the Archives Center staff will produce reference copies on an "as needed" basis, as resources allow.
