- Scope and Contents
- Notes from original housing: Herizon members as a group travelled to D.C. for the March on Washington for Gay and Lesbian Rights in 1987 and rallied together at public media news events on public property and in the street, with the full understanding that all would be photographed by many news cameras. This film is only of the 1987 March on Washington, but in 1979 and 1994, Herizon was there. In 1979, a full bus was driven down to D.C. and the Herizon newsletter filed a full report
- Collection Restrictions
- The collection is open for research use. Researchers must handle unprotected photographs with gloves. Researchers must use reference copies of audio-visual materials. When no reference copy exists, the Archives Center staff will produce reference copies on an "as needed" basis, as resources allow. Do not use original materials when available on reference video or audio tapes.
