Subseries Rights: When the Museum purchased the collection from the Estate of Robert S. Scurlock, it obtained all rights, including copyright. Scope and Contents: Billie Holiday seated at a table in Club Bali with Benny Caldwell, Ada Deans Chapman, and Melvin Smith. There are drinks on the table and a large fan is mounted on a decorated wall behind them. To the right of the man a woman is standing holding a flashgun. "2-1E" is visible in the top left hand corner. No ink on negative. Further ink on envelope: "Guest: Ada Deans Chapman & Melvin Smith". "ANSCO SAFETY FILM" edge imprint. No Scurlock number.
