- This poster depicts the stars and stripes of the American flag with three soldiers forming a triangle alluding to the Puerto Rican flag. Thus merging both flags visually into one, this poster was designed to reflect the pro-statehood vision of former Puerto Rican Governor Carlos Romero Barcelo.
