Cover illustration: frontal and profile portraits, apparently depicting Thomas Addis and Robert Emmet, surrounded by emblems of his accomplishments, including medals awarded. Inside is a photogravure reproduction of a photograph of Thomas Addis Emmet (with a reproduction of his signature) by Anna Frances Levins, who is listed as the official photographer on the officers' page.
