Handwriting and other details have been reported based on the notes of David Berger, Andrew Homzy, Dr. Theodore Hudson, Walter van de Leur, and Mark Tucker.; Condition: fair, tape. Folder A -- 26p. Biographical / Historical: This suite was actually written for the original pilot episode of the television series, "Asphalt Jungle." Music from 'The Lady and the Lawyer' which actually aired as the second episode on April 9, 1961 was entirely composed by the Ellington organization. -- information compiled by Mr. Johnathan D. Burlingame and reported in the DEMS Bulletin (95/1).
