- These photographs were taken by Collins in connection with an anthropomorphic study of the Choctaw. This is part of a series of front and profile portraits of 58 individuals, most of whom are identified. A list of names with respective measurements is in MS 4976. Collins' original negatives for these prints are with his papers.
