- Maps shows a full view of the Bay of Hakodate with various types of watercraft. Multicolor codes identify streets, schools, hospital, temples, and other public buildings. Included are foreign settlement areas, foreigners' cemetery, and scenic places. Additional identifications are given with notes in anonymous hand. List of street names in six groups forms part of the legend. Published by Ōkura Sembei, Tokyo.
