- The map is a view of buildings, street scenes, and hot springs near Kasatsu. It identifies the names of hot springs and includes notes on their efficacies for various ailments. It also identifies temples and other points of interest. An inset lists place names and distances from Kasatsu. A clipping of a photograph showing women at an open air spa and an English label are affixed to the map.
