- Folio 9 recto, 2nd photograph; A photograph of William Taft and Alice Roosevelt in a carriage with two dignitaries. One of the dignitaries, Nagasaki Shōgo, also served as Taft's translator. They were on their way to making the 10 am train to Tokyo. This photo was taken on the 25th of July, 1905.
