Scope and Contents: Maseru, Pitzo, Before King's Arrival, 1947. Photographic image of the leader of Lesotho and his wife standing next to two British officials in white uniforms. Behind them is a stage with several men also wearing the same uniforms. They are all standing in anticipation for the arrival of King George VI to Maseru, the capital of Lesotho. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1947.; There is 10.5 x 13.5 cm. black and white vintage print of this negative in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Collection. EEPA produced an 8x10 study print for reference purposes.
