- Original title reads, "A class at a teacher training project in ibadan, where Nigerian teachers get instruction in academic subjects and in teaching techniques from Americans from Ohio University. There are seven U.S. staff members in elementary education, and three in commercial education. In the pictures, teacher (Miss) Mary McDonough teaches a class of 28 students in Functional English. The class is being held in the library." [Elisofon field notes, August 1959-December 1959]
