- Original title reads, "Members of Qua clan of Ejagham tribe in big Qua Town, Calabar, perform Obon dance procession, advancing to square in front of palace of His Highness Ntoe Ika Ika Oqua II, in Big Qua Town. The covered construction draped with a U.S. flag and being carried by members of the group conceals secret participants in the Obon ceremony, which is usually held for the funeral of an important person.. The boy sitting on top of the structure directs the movements of the men inside. the higher-ranking members of the Obon group are the better dressed men in front; most of them are chiefs."
