Object Details

General: Central to Goodwin's garden is a large parterre garden laid out on a circle, consisting of a series of rectangular beds separated by grass pathways. Radiating from the circle are additional rectangular beds with tall rose bowers at the far side. Persons associated with the property and garden include: James Junius Goodwin, former owner, and his brother, Reverend Francis Goodwin, architect.
