General: Established in the 1970s, this 1.4 acre garden is on a hilly, wooded site adjacent to a "Green Acres" park owned by Monmouth County. It is planted informally along wandering paths and by a brook with a wide assortment of rhododendrons, including many hybridized by the owner, who is a plant pathologist at Rutgers.
