- Biographical / Historical
- According to membership files of The Lenox Garden Club, Dr. W. Gilman Thompson joined this club in 1911; his wife Harriet Gilman joined in 1917. Both resigned from the club in 1918 but later rejoined in 1921. Their garden in Stockbridge was located on the grounds of their summer home.
