- This subseries contains personal correspondence with Packard's friends and family. Personal correspondents of note include Anton Refregier, Charles Safford, songwriter Malvina Reynolds, and composer John Edmunds. Packard's 1940 letters to her parents include references to her work with Diego Rivera as a studio assistant in Mexico.
