Photo taken in Caracas at Escuela Técnica Industrial of the UCV (Central University of Venezuela), where Calder had been invited by his friend the architect Carlos Raul Villanueva.
This photograph was previously attributed to Hermann Landshoff, but identification of location, photographer, and date are derived from email correspondence with Mendoza's son Claudio Mendoza. This picture is one of several taken by Mendoza during Calder's stay in Caracas. - Citation
