Students from the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center play with light on a Microsoft Surface, a multitouch display that offers interaction with information and digital content. The Surface unit, which is located in the Great Hall at the Smithsonian's Castle, was donated to the Smithsonian by Microsoft. "The Wonder of Light: Touch and Learn!" exhibit opens on Tuesday, Nov. 9.
