Image from a Celestron™ Nexstar 6SE telescope
This image of a solar eclipse was taken through a Celestron™ Nexstar 6SE telescope using a camera mount and special solar filter. The STARS program will provide rural schools with a Nexstar 6SE telescope kit complete with mobile phone mount and solar filter, giving students the opportunity to not only view the features of the sun in detail, but also take their own astrophotography images.
