Based in Fresno, Calif., the Mixteco dance group Grupo Nuu Yuku represent the San Joaquin Valley’s indigenous Oaxacan farmworker communities. They perform a specialized local tradition unique to their families’ hometown in San Miguel Cuevas, Oaxaca.
