Eriauchenius milloti (pictured above) is one of the 18 new species of pelican spiders from Madagascar described by the scientists. This species was named after a French arachnologist, Jacques Millot, who described several Madagascan pelican spiders in the 1940s. This species occurs only in southeastern Madagascar, an area with a large diversity of pelican spiders.
