The Git-Hoan (“People of the Salmon”) dancers are comprised of members of the Tsimshian, Haida, and Tlingit nations of southeast Alaska. Led by Tsimshian carver and culture bearer David Boxley, the Git-Hoan will perform Jan. 14 as part of the official totem pole unveiling.
